A Note from Trenna S. Parker

Thank you for your interest in my firm. I wanted to take just a minute to tell you a little bit about myself and my experiences because I dislike websites that describe the primary person in charge of your case in the third-party terms. I believe that attorneys and clients have a partnership and as the attorney in charge, I am going to know a whole lot about you.

I graduated from Noblesville High School in 1986 and then went on to obtain an undergraduate degree from Indiana University Bloomington in 1991. A year or so later, I joined the United States Navy as a Cryptologist. My husband and I were stationed overseas where my lovely daughter was born. After my tour of duty was up, I relocated to Florida (where my parents had moved) and attended the University of Miami School of Law. I graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2001. Needless to say, after being away so long, I missed my hometown and moved back to Noblesville (the day after graduation) where I have been ever since.

As a new attorney, I began to realize that problems that my clients faced were not so easily labeled "Family Law." As my best friend in Law School said, "I don't know why they call it Family Law. There's nothing family about it." He was right. Family Law is really about the legal break up of a family, . . . and that is hard, even if you are the person who wants to break up. Custody, parenting time and child support matters have a vital impact on parental relationships and children's long-term well-being.

I have served as a Guardian Ad Litem and a Juvenile Defense Attorney for 14 years and I have seen what conflict in the home (and between parents) can do to a child's well-being. Minimizing conflict for you and the ones you love while reaching an equitable and fair resolution of your issues has become the focus of my practice. Hence the olive branch in my logo. The olive branch is a symbol of peace and victory.

I look forward to talking with you,

Trenna
